TIPS ON MAINTAINING FRESHNESS EVER

According to Research : Body odor is the unpleasant spell caused by the mixing of perspiration, or sweat, and bacteria on the skin. Sweating or perspiration is the body's way of relieving heat from within the body. Sweat is generally an odorless body secretion; however, the skin surface provides nutrients that help bacteria grow. These bacteria break down sweat into aromatic fatty acids, which produce the unpleasant odor. The concentration and number of bacteria vary in different parts of the body, the maximum being in parts like the scalp, armpits, genital areas and the feet.

6. TIPS ON MAINTAINING FRESHNESS  EVER
It is significant that body odor is often due to poor personal hygiene, but too much perspiration is sometimes involved. Regardless of the cause, the need to develop the following habits is priceless.
1.     Keep Your Body Clean: Wash with soap daily; particularly your armpits, groin, and feet, where there are many sweat producing glands. If you sweat a lot, you may need to bath two or more times a day. Epson salts bath, alternate cold and hot showers daily will improve the blood circulation and reduce congestion in the body.

2.     Use Antiperspirants And Deodorants Daily: Preferably, deodorants with aluminum or Zinc, as these metals kill odour-causing bacteria. Note however, that to keep yourself odor free you need to maintain cleanliness of yourself first. Shave your armpits at least once in two weeks.

3.      Stay Dry:  Keeping your skin dry will help reduce the amount of odor causing bacteria on your body. You can start by toweling yourself off thoroughly after taking a bath or shower. You can also use that antiperspirant in areas other than your armpits that usually get sweaty like your feet or around your groin. Also consider applying antiperspirant before bed. Start wearing clothes that allow your skin to breathe and provide proper air circulation. Trapping heat inside your clothing is a quick way to have sweat accumulate and create a foul smelling odor.

4.     Wash Clothes Thoroughly and always; mostly clothing exposed to sweaty areas such as underwear, socks, and shirts and other clothes at least when they get dirty, sweaty, or when they do not smell clean, and keeping feet dry can reduce odor and irritation.

5.     Wash your face when waking up, in the shower, and before going to bed.

6.     Store your clothes in places where air can get to them and that smell nice.
